You can reach a human at mark@stickervicar.com about anything on this page.

When you sign in. If you sign in with Google we receive your email address, your name and your profile picture from Google. If you sign in with an email and password, we store your email address and a scrambled version of your password that we cannot read. We never see your Google password.

The names you type. Sticker designs are built from names. Those names, along with the fonts, colours and sizes you chose, are stored so your work is still there when you come back and so we can print the right thing.

Your orders. What you bought, when, and what it cost. If your order is posted to you, the delivery address you gave.

Payment details. We do not receive or store your card number. Payments are handled by Stripe, and all we ever see is that a payment succeeded, for how much, and when.

What your browser stores. The design you're part-way through, the contents of your basket, whether you're signed in, and your screen-size calibration are kept in your own browser so a refresh doesn't throw your work away.

• We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone who wants to advertise to you.
• We don't run advertising or behavioural tracking scripts. There is no analytics pixel on this site.
• We don't use the names you type for anything other than making your stickers.

This shop is for grown-ups. It isn't aimed at children and we don't knowingly let anyone under 13 create an account.

We do know that most of what gets typed here are children's names, given to us by their parents. We treat those names as what they are: the thing you are buying, and nothing else. They are never used to build a profile of anyone, never sold, and never shared.

You can delete any name yourself, at any time. Your saved lists shows every list you've saved. Search for a name and you'll see every list it appears in, and you can delete it from there.

We use a small number of services to run the shop, and each sees only what it needs:

• Google — if you choose to sign in with Google, to confirm who you are.
• Supabase, through Lovable — hosts the site and stores your account, your designs and your orders.
• Stripe — takes the payment. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us.
• USPS and UPS — carry the parcel, and get the name and address on the label.

That's the whole list. Nobody else receives your information.

Your account, your designs and your saved lists stay for as long as you want them, and vanish the moment you delete them.

The exception is the financial record of a completed order — the date, what was bought, what it cost and the tax on it. Texas requires us to keep sales records for at least four years, so we do. That record does not contain the names you had printed, your designs, or your lists; those go when you delete them.

There's a Delete my account button on your account page. It removes your profile, every saved list, every design, every file you've uploaded, anything in your basket or saved for later, and your sign-in. It is permanent and it cannot be undone — we have no way to bring it back, so we ask you to type the word delete before it runs.

What survives is the four-year sales record described above, stripped of anything that identifies you: no name, no email, no address.

Stripe keeps its own record of the payment, and so does your bank. That's their obligation, not ours, and deleting your account here doesn't reach it.

Whatever country you're in, you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. If you're in the UK or the EU, that's your right under the GDPR; in California, under the CCPA; and we'll honour it either way rather than checking your address first.

Names and saved lists are yours to delete directly from your saved lists, and your whole account from your account page.

For anything else — a copy of what we hold, or a correction — email mark@stickervicar.com and we'll reply within 30 days.

Everything travels encrypted, passwords are stored scrambled and unreadable, and access to the database is restricted to the shop owner. No system is perfect, and we won't pretend otherwise — but if something ever went wrong that affected you, we'd tell you rather than hope you didn't notice.

If this page changes we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll say so on the site rather than quietly editing it.
